Lorch - The Reason behind My Departure from Pirates

Thembinkosi Lorch, the latest addition to Mamelodi Sundowns has disclosed his reasons for moving from Orlando Pirates to Chloorkop.

The transfer of Lorch, aged 30 and as originally reported by iDiski Times, was confirmed on Deadline Day between the two South African powerhouses.

Lorch has revealed that he desired to advance his career after dedicating seven and a half years to the Buccaneers, leaving many in the local football community astonished by his decision.

He told Sundowns Magazine that it was difficult for him to leave considering the amount of time he spent wearing the Pirates jersey and the affection shown by fans.

At present, I consider taking this step as a significant milestone in my career. The idea of being part of Sundowns, an accomplished team in a novel setting, brings me immense gratification.

I am excited to give my all and persist in achieving accomplishments throughout this fresh phase of my football expedition.

Lorch also revealed his family's response to the relocation, stating that they always back him up in whatever brings him joy.
